Introduction

Single Sign-On (SSO) allows your team to log in to PeakMetrics using your company’s identity provider (IdP), improving security and simplifying access management. PeakMetrics supports SSO via SAML 2.0 and OAuth, integrating with providers like Okta and Google Workspace.


How SSO Works on PeakMetrics

When SSO is enabled, users are redirected to your identity provider to authenticate before accessing PeakMetrics. After successful authentication, they are logged in automatically.

  • Okta
  • Active Directory Federated Sync (ADFS)
  • Google Workspace
  • Entra Id
  • KeyCloak
  • PingFederated
  • Custom SAML 2.0 Providers
  • Custom OIDC Providers

Setting Up SSO for Your Organization

Prerequisites

  • Admin access to your Identity Provider
  • PeakMetrics SSO Configuration Link
  • SAML 2.0 or OAuth 2.0 configuration enabled

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Click the configuration link in your SSO setup email

    • It will be similar to https://auth-sso.peakmetrics.com/self-service/connections-flow?ticket=[id]
  2. Choose Your Identity Provider

    • Select select one our our identity partners for instructions on configuring that provider.

3. Enter Identity Provider Details

    • PeakMetrics configuration details are provided on your configuration screen.
  1. Test and Enable SSO

    • Click Test Configuration to verify the setup.

User Login Experience

  1. Accessing PeakMetrics: Users will go to https://dashboard.peakmetrics.com and be redirected to the company’s login page.
  2. Continue with Enterprise: Users should use the enterprise login to sign in using SSO

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q: What if a user is locked out of SSO?
A: Contact your PeakMetrics account rep an an Admin can reset or disable SSO to provide alternative access to your account.

Q: Can I have both SSO and password-based login?
A: No, enabling SSO will require all users to log in using their identity provider.

Q: How do I remove an SSO user?
A: Remove the user from your IdP and let your PeakMetrics Account Rep know to disable their PeakMetrics account.
